More than just a horseback ride, this is about connecting with our free-roaming horses, experiencing Colombian country life, and taking with you a piece of our culture. At Monte & Panela you’ll be welcomed directly by our family, no intermediaries, on our 100-year-old finca in the Andes Mountains.
We keep groups small and personal. Upon arrival, We welcome you with freshly brewed local coffee. Then you’ll enjoy a farm-to-table breakfast: our grandma’s traditional recipe served with fresh cheese made right here on the farm. Our animals live freely and are treated with respect: you’ll get to milk cows, feed calves, and ride our gentle horses across 200 private acres of pure nature, safe trails, and mountain views.
I’m Juan José, third-generation caretaker of this land, and I will personally guide you throughout the experience, making sure you feel at home as part of our family.

Meeting and pickup
We personally provide pick-up and drop-off from your hotel or accommodation. Pick-up available in the following neighborhoods: El Poblado, Laureles, Envigado, and Sabaneta Please note that we allow a maximum waiting time of 10 minutes at each stop, as we must continue on to pick up other guests along the way. We appreciate your punctuality to help us keep the experience running smoothly for everyone.
What to expect
Escape the city and experience authentic rural life—feed baby calves, milk cows, sip fresh coffee, and connect with our animals, who are always treated with love and respect.
We will share a traditional farm-style breakfast with fresh eggs and organic produce, then ride horseback through beautiful mountain landscapes. At the top, you’ll feed the horses, relax in a hammock, and enjoy a fresh fruit picnic with unforgettable views.
