Your morning begins with a scenic drive to Seljalandsfoss, a graceful cascade you can walk behind. The mist, the glow of daylight through the water and the surrounding cliffs create a magical introduction to the South Coast. Your guide shares local stories and folklore that bring this iconic waterfall to life.

2Skogafoss
Continue to Skógafoss, a 60-meter curtain of whitewater framed by wide plains and green mountains. Its mist often forms vivid rainbows, making it a favourite for photographers. View it from the base or climb the nearby staircase for sweeping panoramas, either way, Skógafoss is cinematic and unforgettable.

3Vik
Next we arrive in Vík, Iceland’s southernmost village, located between volcanic cliffs and the open Atlantic. Enjoy an included lunch at Suður-Vík Restaurant, loved by locals, with fresh soups and Icelandic local dishes while your guide reveals the culture, climate and volcanic history that shape life in this remote coastal community. 4Lava Show - Vik
The centrepiece of your day is the Icelandic Lava Show, an exclusive performance where real lava, heated to 1,100°C (2,000°F), is poured onto ice in a powerful recreation of a volcanic eruption. You’ll feel the heat, hear the crackling and witness molten lava behave exactly as it would in nature. This is not a simulation. 5Reynisfjara Beach

6Solheimajokull Glacier
See an outlet of the Mýrdalsjökull ice cap, with blue ice streaked by volcanic ash. A flat trail leads to the glacier viewpoint; optional guided glacier hikes are available (not included).

7Dyrholaey
Your final stop is Dyrhólaey, a high promontory offering spectacular 360° views of black beaches, sea arches, puffin cliffs (in summer), glacier backdrops and the South Coast stretching endlessly into the horizon. It’s the perfect final vantage point before returning to Reykjavík.

Reykjavik (Pass by)
A Scenic, Comfortable Return to Reykjavík. Settle in for the drive back as you pass farmlands, distant glaciers and moss-covered lava fields glowing in the afternoon light.
