We provide the finest shuttle service on the Island with guaranteed curbside and designated meeting area “pick up or drop off” service. Service includes Roatan International airport, both ferry terminals and almost all vacation rental homes on the island of Roatan. Please contact to specify your address or location if you feel our criteria does not apply.
We offer multiple vehicles ranging in size, from 10-15 seaters or 20-28 seater buses. We also provide a variety of SUV's & Sedan's for groups of 4 and under or couples. Driver's will have a sign of the lead or booking traveller's name at the meeting area, once you clear customs and baggage at the airport or ferry. Please ask us in advance about adding a grocery store and pharmacy stop prior to check in at your hotel, resort or rental unit.

There are two Cruise Centers in Roatan. The directions for both locations are listed below. Please depart your ship one hour upon arrival to port and proceed to the designated meeting area listed below to check in with your representative.
MAHOGANY BAY CRUISE TERMINAL & DIXON'S COVE PORT:
Exit the ship and walk up the main path into the shopping area.
Continue past the fountains, through the shopping area, to the building with a red roof on the right.
Enter that building and walk to the end where the white taxi's park.
Make a left and walk up the hill.
You will see a LARGE GREEN gate. Go through the gate and down the hill.
Your Detour Roatan Guide will be on the right with a Detour Roatan sign and your name & information.
The Guide will check you in and take you to your shuttle.

TOWN CENTER/PORT OF ROATAN & COXEN HOLE CRUISE TERMINAL:
Exit the Ship and walk in to the main shopping area.
Look for the EXCURSION KIOSK NUMBER 2 where tours & excursions are sold. This is the South Shore Adventures and Detour Roatan tour kiosk.
Ask for our manager Cindy Fisher and staff for check in and boarding to your designated shuttles.

Tips: Wear sunscreen, bug repellent and bring your bathing suit and towel for the optional beach stop. Cameras recommended. Bring Cash or Credit Cards for drinks, tips, souvenirs and shopping.

What to expect
Detour also provides “pick up or drop off” service to the Galaxy Wave Ferry terminal with two daily charters to the coastal city of La Ceiba starting at 7:00am and 2:00pm from the home port of Roatan.
If you’re not in the mood for renting an automobile on your stay in Roatan, Detour also provides private shuttles for guests who want to see the Island without the hassle of roadmaps and asking for directions. It does not matter if it’s a road trip of discovery, private transport to a romantic dinner to some of the finest restaurants on the Island or a drive into West End Village to enjoy the shopping, diving and nightlife responsibly… At Detour Roatan, we can accommodate the demands of every guest.
Once a shuttle is booked, Detour will arrange a licensed, professional driver/chofer and a vehicle that accommodates the clients’ needs, It can be your hotel, timeshare, vacation rental or the airport. Upon arrival your driver will be waiting to greet you at the meeting area with a sign displaying the client’s name.
