You start at the historic weighing house, where for centuries farmers from the wide area brought their cheese. Your guide then shows you the Gothic town hall, the St. John's Church, the longest church in the Netherlands, the former St. Catherine's guest house that now houses Museum Gouda, and the old fish market by the canal.
Along the way, you hear stories about Gouda's churches, canals and old facades, and the history behind the city's famous cheese.
The tour ends at a cheese bar in the center for the tasting.

The tour starts at the historical weighing house of Gouda. For centuries, this is where farmers from the wide area used to come to get their cheese weighed on market days.

2Stadhuis Gouda (City Hall)
And of course, you'll see the charming gothic town hall of Gouda and you'll learn more about its history and significance. If it is open, you can also enter with your guide. This is not every day and it depends on certain events.

3Sint-Janskerk
This is the longest (not tallest!) church of the Netherlands, with the first building phase starting in 1272! Walk around it and learn more about the building, its history its significance.
