Samburu has the most beautiful land scapes within the park and its known for the rich beautiful culture of the Samburu people and interesting livelihood.
It is the most unique park situated on the banks of Ewaso Ng'iro river ,
well known for special 5 that are rearly found on other parks this are the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy zebra, Gerenuk antelope and Somali ostrich, its also home to popular of close to 900 elephants. Large predators such as the lion leopard and cheetah are an important attraction (Kamunyak the famous lioness that adapted a baby oryx is a resident in the reserve) the reserve is in fact one of the better locations in Kenya to spot leopard. Wild dog sightings are also a common attraction to this unique protected area and birdlife is abundant with over 450 recorded species.
This is the most quite and less crowded park, a great destination for best unique game drives and the animal species .

1Samburu National Reserve
Pick up from airport/Hotel , short brief of the safari then drive northwards through the farmlands of the Kikuyu people to reach Mt. Kenya and the small town of Nyeri i, you will stop briefly en route at the Equator Crossing point. In the early afternoon drive in the afternoon, proceed to Samburu , check in for lunch before do some refreshments before we proceed for evening game drive , Through the forest to your tree hotel where the night is spent above the floodlit water hole and salt lick. Frequent visitors are Elephants, Rhinos, Buffalo, and Giraffe forest hogs. Dinner and overnight at Umoja camp.

2Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast , we shall the proceed for a full day to explore the reserve, Samburu National Reserve is known for special 5; Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Gerenuk antelope and Somali ostrich. you will almost certainly see the graceful reticulated Giraffe, Gravy’s Zebra, Elephants, and the Oryx perhaps the origin of the legend of the unicorn and other animals as well. Overnight at Umoja camp.

At the break of dawn you embark on your concluding game drive in Samburu followed by a leisurely breakfast. Check out by 10:00 am for a return by road back to Nairobi. Drop off at your hotel, or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight back home. End of our safari.
