  If you wish, visit the Archaeological Nemea Site, where a top local event has been taking place for the last twenty-odd years: the revival of ‘Nemeia’, the sports games that used to take place in ancient Nemea since 573 BC and every two years in turns with the Olympic Games and the games in Delphi and Isthmia. The Modern Nemeia Games were revived in 1996, 2300 years later, and they take place every four years, with many athletes and spectators coming and participating from across the world.

  Next, discover the local flavor of the Nemea Peloponnese Wine Estates, set in with wonderful views. Visit 2 well-known wine estates in the region, with a wonderful selection of wines. Choose between the classic range or the eclectic for the wine connoisseurs. Nestled among rolling vineyards and sun-drenched hills, Nemea is famous for producing the exceptional Agiorgitiko grape—often referred to as the “Blood of Hercules”—yielding rich, aromatic red wines with deep character and smooth texture. During your standard wine tasting experience, you will: - Visit 2 (two) local wineries and learn about traditional and modern winemaking techniques. - Taste a selection of carefully curated local wines (typically 3–4 varieties) - Pair your wines with light local delicacies This experience offers a perfect introduction to the authentic flavours of the Peloponnese, combining history, culture, and the art of Greek winemaking in a relaxed and scenic setting.
