Next, head to “Yaese Park” to relax in the vast greenery and tranquility. You can enjoy a pleasant stroll and take in the beautiful scenery of Okinawa at a spectacular spot. The last stop is Shurijo Castle. You will be amazed by its magnificent architecture and exotic design, symbolizing the history of the Ryukyu Kingdom period. Shurijo Castle is currently undergoing repairs from a fire in 2019 and is scheduled to be rebuilt in the fall of 2026.

Yaese Park is a vast park located in the southern part of the main island of Okinawa that combines natural beauty and rich history. The park offers spacious grasslands and lush forests where visitors can relax and enjoy themselves. In particular, the observatory offers a panoramic view of Yaese Town and the surrounding sea, and on a clear day, visitors can enjoy a wonderful view. There is also a museum where visitors can learn about the history of the Battle of Okinawa and monuments dotted around the area that pray for peace, giving visitors a sense of the historical background of the area. It is also an ideal place for strolls and picnics for many people.

Shuri Castle, which flourished as the political and cultural center of the Ryukyu Kingdom, is one of Okinawa's most popular tourist attractions. It was severely damaged by fire in 019, but efforts are currently underway to restore it. The Shouden (main hall) of Shuri Castle is the symbol of Shuri Castle and the symbolic building of the Ryukyu Kingdom. It was a beautiful building characterized by vivid colors and elaborate decorations, blending Chinese-style architecture with unique Ryukyuan elements. After its restoration, it will showcase its appearance to more visitors.
