Our cooking experience takes place at WasiPai Boutique Hotel, a beautiful boutique hotel in a renovated 100 year old property located near the waterfront in the Miraflores district. Address is: Av. De La Aviacion 175, Miraflores (one block from the crossing of Av. Pardo and Av. Del Ejercito).

What to expect

We are now one of the top rated Cooking Experiences in Peru! Enjoy a chef led Peruvian food cooking class where you will be guided through the preparation of a delicious 3 course meal plus local dessert, a fruit tasting and making of Peru's traditional drink - the Pisco Sour!

A professional chef will lead, providing you with easy to follow instructions of how to prepare some of Peru's most popular dishes, including Ceviche, Lomo Saltado and Causa.

The culinary experience includes history of our dishes and info on some local unique fruits, vegetables and spices. Meal ingredients are pre-setup for convenience and to maximize your enjoyment.

We will start the session learning how to make a Pisco Sour, Peru's traditional drink.

For each dish, you will have the opportunity to prepare your plate using culinary techniques guided by our chef, to make delicious food but also providing you the flexibility to adjust ingredients to your taste preferences (spice, salt, etc....).

Fresh and local ingredients are used in all of our dishes, received fresh on the day of the cooking class. Finish it all off with a nice espresso and local dessert tasting.
