You will always feel comfortable, because using GPS I know exactly where you are and will give you the right directions and information on time, spoken in your own language. You can never get lost.

    We start in front of the beautiful 7 country houses. The seven different houses represent a journey through the architectural styles of Europe. The countries are: France, Spain, Italy, England, Russia, Germany and the Netherlands. Do you already know which country belongs to which house? If not, you can take a look above the front door of each house. Here you see the names of the countries.

    Nassaukade

    We walk past the mural 'Rose with her Box'. The mural has adorned the building since 2014, inspired by the poem 'Aan een Roosje' by Jacob van Lennep.

    Leidsegracht

    This bench on the Leidsegracht plays an important role in the well-known film 'the fault in our stars'. If you don't know the film: John Green's story is about two American teenagers with cancer who travel to Amsterdam to meet their favorite writer.

    Residence Flower Market

    we walk through the Flower Market. The Flower Market is a beautiful place if you want to take colorful photos. Walk down the street and find a nice spot. The market stalls are located on boats.

    Blue Amsterdam

    Take a beautiful photo with a view over the city in the hidden cafe Blue! The café is located at the top of the Kalvertoren and has a 360 degree view of the city. Go in here and take the glass elevator up and be amazed, but more importantly, take pictures!

    Munt Tower (Munttoren)

    The Munttoren, or 'De Munt', is officially called Regulierstoren and was previously part of the Regulierspoort. This city gate was one of the three main gates of the medieval fortifications of Amsterdam

    Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam Hotel

    Opposite the Amstel you will see Hotel Doelen. Before the hotel was located here, the building of the shooters or kloveniers, the Kloveniersdoelen, stood here in the 17th century. Rembrand's famous painting, The Night Watch, hung here for a while from 1642 to 1715. The Doelen hotel has had a number of famous guests. Namely the Beatles in 1964 but also Empress Elizabeth of Austria.

    Near the Halvemaansbrug you will find the best place to have your picture taken with the dancing houses on the other side.

    Dutch National Opera & Ballet

    On the other side of the Amstel you will see the Stopera. This is the Amsterdam building complex that houses both the city hall and the National Opera and Ballet.

    Blauwbrug

    We pass the Blauwbrug. The {Blauwbrug} connects Rembrandplein with Waterlooplein. The bridge is derived from the architecture in Paris and has a luxurious appearance. It also looks out over the Amstel.
