Tsavo National Park is unique and its habitat include open plains alternating with Savannah bush and semi desert scrub, acacia woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops and more extensive ranges and isolated hills; belts of riverine vegetation; palm thickets and mountain forest. Drive across the Athi plains home of the proud Masai tribe, to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. An afternoon ‘Spice’ game drive is planned. In addition to elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and the elusive leopard, nearly every vista within the park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

Today we enjoy a game drive to the secluded heart of big game country. In addition to elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and lions, nearly every vista within the park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Breakfast at the lodge; optional visit to a Masai Village and depart for Tsavo West National Park. After check-in and lunch, an afternoon ‘Spice’ game drive in this vast Park is planned.
Two game drives are scheduled for this day. The extensive diverse habitats offer ideal area to search for pride of lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffe, zebras, hippos and wildebeests. The Park is a vast expansion of African savanna with a more diverse array of habitats which include open plains, semi desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills and rock outcrops. It’s famous for the Red Elephants, Oryx, and Gerenuk among other mammal’s species and bird life. Other notable features include Mzima Springs which are water source for Mombasa Town, Shetani Lava Flow and Ash cones, which is an example of recent volcanic eruption. After an early morning ‘Spice’ game drive and breakfast, depart for your return journey to Nairobi arriving early afternoon. As our adventure comes to a close, enjoy the sights and attractions of Nairobi the city in the sun on your own.
