This is a 12 day Kenya safari covering some of the best known safari parks in Kenya with possibility of seeing all Big five. Transportation between the parks is by road using a customized safari van or Safari Jeep. The adventure safari visits Samburu Game Reserve, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Aberdare National park, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Hell’s Gate and and Masai Mara. Accommodation is in Standard Lodges and camps, located places where adventure activities like hiking, nature walks, village visits are permitted and possible then drop you off to the airport at the end of Safari.

    Day 1

    Nairobi – Samburu Game reserve (320km – Approx. 6 hrs)

    At 7:00AM, our driver will pick you and you will proceed to Samburu National Reserve. After checking inn, you will have lunch and later have a game drive where you will get to see so many animals and birds too. later you will head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

    Enjoy a full day game at the reserve and get to see so many animals such as elephants, zebras, lions, Cheetah, Buffalo, Oryx, endangered Grevy’s Zebra, the Reticulated Giraffe and many other. After that you will head back to the lodge and have a relaxing time and swimming at the lodge. Later dinner and overnight at the lodge.

    Samburu Game Reserve – Ol Pejeta (180 km – Approx. 3 Hrs)

    Ol Pejeta Conservancy

    After breakfast, you will proceed to Ol Pejeta Conservancy where you will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, You will have an afternoon game drive where you will have a chance to see the White & Black Rhinos which are rescued for conservation purposes. You will also get to visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary where the orphaned chimpanzee are rescued and get to know how they live. Later you will have a visit at the Sweetwaters and get to see animals like giraffes, zebras and many more. Later dinner and overnight at the lodge.

    Proceed to the Aberdare national park. lunch at Aberdare Country Club, located on a mountain slope in the scenic Great Rift Valley. After lunch we drive to the nearby The Ark Lodge where we will stay for tonight. Afternoon and evening spent game viewing from the balconies of your Tree lodge. The Aberdare national park is home to elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker.

    Aberdare – Lake Nakuru National Park (190 km – Approx. 4 Hrs)

    Lake Nakuru National Park

    After breakfast, depart to Lake Nakuru for an early morning game drive. The Lake is renowned as a bird sanctuary with over 400 bird species at times, there can be up to two million greater and lesser flamingos and tens of thousands of other birds hence the park is referred to as the ‘Birds Paradise’. It’s a rhino sanctuary with excellent wildlife viewing. Game viewing will start immediately you enter the park gates arriving at the lodge in time for lunch. An afternoon game viewing has been scheduled for you departing at 16:00 hrs. The park’s landscape includes areas of marsh, grasslands alternating with rocky cliffs and outcrops, stretches of acacia woodland and rocky hillsides covered with a Euphorbia forest on the eastern perimeter. Large animals strive in the dry land surrounding the lake such as the endangered Rothschild giraffe, cape buffaloes, waterbucks, gazelles, leopard, and several species of primates can be spotted as well in the park.     Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara Game Reserve (290 km – Approx. 6 Hrs)

    On this day, you will have breakfast and then depart to Masai mara through Narok road. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch you will relax or have a swim then have an evening game drive where you will have an opportunity to see the Big 5 and many other animals. Later have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

    Enjoy a full day game viewing in the rolling grass of Mara with endless plains where more than two million wild beast gnu's are migrating from Serengeti in Tanzania with their calves. Visit the banks of Mara river to try and spot the hippos.Get to see lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, zebras, and many more. You will have an optional visit to a Maasai village to learn their unchanged culture.

    Depart Nairobi by road to Hell's Gate National Park. Arrive at Hell's Gate National Park . Once at the Park, you have the option of a game drive in a Safari vehicle or take bikes into the Park. Cycling in the Park is a great adventure as you get to ride the bikes for 7 Kilometers before resting at a ranger's post. After a brief stop at the rangers post you leave the bike and start a walking safari. Enjoy the spectacular views of the gorge. The walking trip or safari takes 3 hours. The park provides a variety of wildlife, unusual flora and many species of birds and is one of the only two Kenyan Parks where climbing, walking and biking are allowed. Animals seen here include Bushbucks, Dik Dik, Gazelles, Gnus, Hartebeests, Impalas, Klipspringers, Buffaloes, Hyraxes, Zebras, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongooses, Baboons, Monkeys and Porcupines amongst others. Lunch at the Fisherman's camp then spend the afternoon at Lake Naivasha doing boat riding.

    Drive to the 151-square mile (392-sq km) Amboseli National Park, located south of Nairobi. Embark on a game drive after lunch and begin to discover the reserve's natural treasures. Observe the majestic African elephants that the park is famous for as they gather around the seasonal swamps in the dry bushland.

    Spend a full day at Amboseli National Park. Breakfast will be served at the camp, thereafter depart for morning game viewing. The park’s tranquil beauty allows fabulous wildlife viewing, photography and easily approachable wildlife which include big families of elephants, lions, impalas, giraffes, gazelles etc. You have an optional complimentary visit to a Maasai Cultural village that reveals the singing and dancing which is part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a memorable travel experience. They live in close harmony with the environment and the wild animals. There will be an early morning game drive. Then breakfast will be followed by a mid-morning drive. After a comfortable lunch we’ll set out on a later afternoon game drive. Between the wildlife viewing sessions, relax at your Amboseli lodge or camp. They will provide meals and other activities. As always, your safari vehicle and driver/ guide are at your disposal for even more game viewing drives.

    Early morning game viewing drives with possible views of the morning Mount Kilimanjaro peaks. Later proceed to the Tsavo West National park with game viewing drives en-route. An afternoon game viewing drive with optional visit to try your chances at the Rhino sanctuary. The Tsavo west national park landscape is hilly and scenic with more patience in game spotting required.
