You will as well get a chance to visit Dune 45, en route to Deadvlei. Dune 45 is named for its proximity to Sesriem Gate, as it is situated 45km from the gate, along a paved road.
You will visit Sesriem Canyon. about 4 km from Sesriem gate, which is the second most important tourist attraction in the area after Sossusvlei. It is a natural canyon carved by the Tsauchab river in the local sedimentary rock, about one kilometer long and up to 30 meters (100 ft.) deep. The name Sesriem is Afrikaans and means "six rawhide thongs", given by settlers on the Dorsland Trek, who had to join six such thongs in order for a bucket to reach the water.

Our guide will meet you at the airport or any hotel of your choice, and you will begin your tour journey to Sossusvlei.
After a visit at Dune 45, you will continue your drive to Big Daddy dunes. This is the Continuing on to the tarred road (around 55kms) and drive for yet another 5 km into the Sossusvlei area to appreciate the beauty of this place in early morning light and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the region. You will explore this unique area on foot before heading into Dead Vlei with its large expanse of bleached cracked clay and skeletal camel thorn trees, contrasting with a backdrop of huge dunes with their ever-changing colours before driving back.
Today after breakfast, you will drive back to Windhoek. En route, you will visit the town of Solitare, a small settlement near the Namib-Naukluft National Park, which currently only features the gasoline station, bakery, cafe. You may try the famous apple pie. On way, you will use the scenic road of Spreetshoogte Pass. Spreetshoogte Pass (Afrikaans: Spreetshoogtepas, literally English: Spreeth's Peak Pass) is a mountain pass in central Namibia, connecting the Namib Desert with the Khomas Highland. When you arrive in Windhoek, your guide will drop you off at your hotel (Own cost) or at the airport for your outgoing flight. For those departing today, please make sure that your flight is not departing earlier than 19h00.
