Key Highlights of Amboseli National Park:
"Home of the African Elephant": The park hosts a population of over 1,000 elephants, including famous, large-tusked "super tuskers". It is considered the best place in the world to observe these animals at close range.

Iconic Kilimanjaro Views: It offers the most spectacular, unobstructed views of Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, which rises just across the Tanzanian border.

Wildlife Diversity: Apart from elephants, it is known for large herds of buffalo, lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, and hippos, as well as over 400 bird species.

Diverse Habitats & Swamps: Despite being a "salty, dusty place" (the meaning of Amboseli in Maa), the park is famous for its marshy, underground spring-fed swamps (like Enkongo Narok) that attract huge concentrations of wildlife, especially during dry seasons.

Maasai Culture: Visitors often experience the rich traditions of the local Maasai people.
