This tour is perfect for travelers who want to experience the Maasai Mara in one day without staying overnight. The early 4:00 AM departure gives you more time to enjoy the reserve after the scenic drive from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley. Once in Maasai Mara, you will enjoy a game drive across the open savannah, with chances to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and other wildlife. After the game drive, you will stop for lunch at your own expense. You may also add an optional Maasai village visit at an extra cost, if confirmed at least one day before the tour.

    Maasai Mara National Reserve

    Start with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or airport at 4:00 AM, then drive through the Great Rift Valley toward Maasai Mara with a short comfort stop along the way at your own expense. Upon arrival at Maasai Mara, enjoy a game drive across the reserve as you search for wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and other animals. The game drive gives you a chance to experience the open savannah and enjoy the reserve’s beautiful landscapes. After the game drive, you will exit the reserve and take a lunch break at your own expense. After lunch, you may choose to visit a Maasai village at an additional cost. This optional activity should be discussed and confirmed at least one day before the tour. Afterward, begin the return journey to Nairobi, with a possible comfort stop along the way. You will be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or airport in the evening.
