Start your visit at Saqqara, the burial site of ancient Memphis. Begin with the Funerary Complex of King Djoser, the founder of the Third Dynasty during the Old Kingdom. Here, you will see the Step Pyramid, the first large stone building in history and a true wonder of ancient architecture.
