Ice cleats and hiking poles will also be available to help you move safely and comfortably on winter surfaces. Your guide will lead you to the best accessible viewpoint before the sky begins to glow. As the first light illuminates the Canadian Rockies, take your time photographing the changing colours, enjoying the scenery, or simply taking in the quiet of the early morning. You’ll have approximately one hour at Two Jack Lake, giving you plenty of time to experience the sunrise without spending too long outside in the winter cold.

    From Two Jack Lake, continue through Banff National Park toward Johnston Canyon, one of the Canadian Rockies’ most spectacular winter destinations. In winter, the waterfalls and canyon walls transform with ice formations and frozen cascades, creating a magical landscape unlike any other season.
