Our activity takes you from your door to the heart of our vibrant nature in our beloved local Botanical Garden. As we wander through the carefully curated exhibits, we'll explore the rich variety of fauna and flora, while also having the chance to see some wildlife, such as local birds, monkeys and insects. Along the way we will discuss plants; their individual properties, their importance to our local climate and their cultural importance to Colombians. After this, we moved to a nearby natural hotspot, only known to Cartageneros. Here you will experience how we locals really live; enjoying life through food, music and activities while immersing ourselves in nature, an experience that tourists would not discover otherwise.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The meeting point is at the clock tower monument at 9.30am. The guide will have a sweater with the agency's name on it.
What to expect
Enter a world of color and life as you explore the selected trails of the botanical garden, taking in the breathtaking beauty of the native flora and fauna, each of which tells a story of the rich biodiversity of our region. From vibrant flowers to towering trees, every corner reveals a new wonder waiting to be discovered.
After immersing yourself in the natural wonders of our Botanical Gardens, we will take a short five-minute walk to one of our best kept local secrets: an oasis hidden in the middle of a peaceful landscape. There is the possibility to take a rowboat in the crystal clear waters of the lake, enjoy typical Cartagena delicacies in the cafeteria by the lake and take a refreshing dip in a swimming pool.
