    Betancuria

    In Betancuria we have time to visit the old capital from 1404 on foot. Free time for a coffee and to visit the cathedral Santa Maria (ticket cost 2€), if open.

    Pajara

    Pájara is one of the oldest towns in Fuerteventura and was a very early settlement from Betancuria. It survived complete destruction during the Arab invasion of 1593 when all of Betancuria was reduced to dust. The town takes its name from the hen pheasant, as the coat of arms shows. View the sights along this beautiful route with explanations from our local guide. We will stop for a visit on the iglesias de Nuestra Señora de la regla

    Located on the west coast of Fuerteventura, next to the Jandía peninsula, La Pared black beach “Viejo rey” is a beach about 250 meters long made up of rocks that has a wild character.     Here we have a amazing view and little walk… Las Peñitas is ideal for using your imagination and traveling back in time millions of years, when the island was a large, rugged mountain range, without any rounded hills.
