Visitors can find traditional handicrafts such as silver and copper items, lanterns, carpets, handmade souvenirs, spices, perfumes, and Islamic and Pharaonic artifacts. The atmosphere is lively and authentic, especially in the evening, when the voices of shopkeepers blend with the aroma of Arabic coffee and incense. One of its most iconic landmarks is El Fishawi Café, over 200 years old, famous for hosting writers, artists, and intellectuals.
