    Pompey's Pillar

    It is a Roman Triumphal Column that is truly famous in Alexandria and it is the largest one to be built during the Roman empire to honor Emperor Diocletian. It was made out of one piece of red granite column and it is 20.75 meters long, 2.70 meters wide at the bottom of its base, and the width of the crown at the end of the pillar is 2.30. meters
