Start your day with a walk to pyrgos the highest village on the island. Wander the winding cobblestone streets, admire the Cycladic architecture and climb to the medieval Kastelli for a panoramic view of the whole of Santorini.

Continue to the Venetsanos Winery. It is the first industrial winery on the island (built in 1947) with a unique architecture carved into the rock, operating under gravity. You will take a tour of the cave facilities and enjoy a wine tasting on its famous terrace, which offers one of the most stunning and unobstructed views of the Caldera and the rocks.

Complete your experience at a traditional tavern that produces its own products on its adjacent farm. Don't forget to try the traditional tomato meatballs, Santorini fava, their own handmade sausage and dishes with the famous white aubergine of Santorini. The environment is extremely welcoming.

    Pyrgos Kallistis is a beautiful medieval village built at an elevation, approximately 10 kilometers southeast of Fira. It was built by the Venetians around 1580 AD and is one of the island's five fortified settlements (*kastelia*). Architecture: Narrow, labyrinthine alleys, whitewashed houses, vaulted passageways, and old churches make up the landscape.

    Venetsanos Winery in Megalochori, Santorini—built between 1947 and 1949—is the island's first industrial winery. It features unique architecture situated on the caldera cliff and was designed to utilize gravity in the winemaking process. It produces exceptional local wines, such as Assyrtiko and Vinsanto, while offering spectacular views.

    "I Kali Kardia" (The Good Heart) tavern in Akrotiri, Santorini, has been operating since 2000 as a warm, family-run business located on the main road to the Lighthouse. It stands out for its authentic hospitality, traditional dishes, stunning sunset views, and an adjoining shop offering homemade local products. Specialty: Santorini tomato fritters.
