River Runner Adventures is Zambian owned and operated. Our rafting trips run the Zambezi rapids just below Victoria Falls. Our team provides a river trip with local knowledge and history of the Zambezi. There are cultural encounters included as we pass through local villages to access the river.
We like to provide the best experience on the river and will customize the trip to the traveller's wishes as best we can. This may include (as the season permits), adding fishing, viewing the Falls from below, photography opportunities, etc.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pick up will be from any accommodation within Livingstone town. Arrangements can be made if staying at a lodge out of town and a meet up location will be decided near town centre if needed.
What to expect
Pick up and shuttle to the Zambezi river in Botoka Gorge below Victoria Falls. Hike down into the gorge where you gear up and go over the safety briefing. Raft down the river through rapids and stop partway for snacks. At the end of the run, there is a hike back up to the top of the gorge where there is lunch provided with drinks. Our shuttle will then take travellers back to their chosen location within town.

- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- We can accommodate dietary restrictions such as food allergies, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.
- Important Note: We only serve alcoholic beverages for travelers 21 years old and above. Minor travellers under 21 years old will be served non-alcoholic beverages.
