Itinerary

    Day 1

    Transfer to Hoima

    At 8:00 AM, we’ll pick you up from your hotel or designated location and embark on a scenic drive to Hoima District in northwestern Uganda, heading to Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed and shown your accommodations. Later in the evening, enjoy an exciting game drive to explore the local wildlife. Afterward, return to the lodge for a delightful dinner, followed by an overnight stay to relax and unwind.

    Fossil hunting, birding and Bush dinner

    In the morning, between 8 and 9 a.m., after breakfast, we head out for fossil hunting—one of the most important educational activities that allows us to explore fossils that have existed for generations.

    After fossil hunting, we continue with another exciting activity: birding. For birders, this reserve boasts 460 bird species, so please carry along your binoculars and cameras for an amazing birding experience. After this activity, we head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

    In the evening, after relaxing, we will put on our hiking shoes and head out for a nature walk. We will arrive at a beautiful spot with an amazing view for a bush dinner and a cozy campfire. After dinner, we’ll drive back to the lodge in the jeep for an overnight stay.

    Transfer back to Kampala
