In the morning at 8am we pick you up at your hotel and start driving to Southwestern Uganda to the Home of mountain Gorillas On the way we will make a stop at the Uganda Equator and take some photos, some craft shopping, and grab some food.
The moment you've been waiting for has finally arrived: this is when your Ugandan Gorilla adventure begins. After a few brief formalities and an introduction to your ranger guide, you will move to the forest and begin to discover all of the amazing Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Morning Transfer to Bwindi, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Viewed as you approach the park boundary, the forested mountainsides of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park stands in magnificent contrast to the surrounding cultivated hills. Once inside the park, expect a sensory overload of sounds, smells and sights you could only experience in a pristine African jungle. Even without any wildlife, Bwindi would be an amazing place to visit, but the presence of a diverse forest fauna – most notably the endangered mountain gorilla but also 10 other primate and 350 bird species – has made this Unesco World Heritage Site one of Africa's undisputed top destinations. In the morning at 8am, we embark to Queen Elizabeth NP after breakfast. Set on the Rift Valley floor in view of the snow capped Rwenzori peaks, Queen Elizabeth National Park offers plenty of variety to safari Goers. On the Kasenyi and Ishasha Plains, large herds of Uganda Kob, the national antelope, stand on constant guard for the lions that feed on them. Lakes Edward and George, together with the connecting Kazinga Channel, support around 5,000 hippos and an abundance of waterbirds, as well as being a magnet for thirsty elephant and buffalo herds.
On arrival to your lodge, you check in refresh, lunch and later head out. You'll love the warm light and cooler temperatures as we take you out to explore on your evening game drive. This time of day is when both predators and prey are most active and it can feel as though anything could happen at any moment. This is when you'll most enjoy being on safari.
Put on some warm clothes and enjoy an early morning game drive. This is the perfect time to experience the wildlife and the landscapes they inhabit. The light is soft and warm – perfect for photography – and most animals are out and about, and active. If you’re not an early riser, you’ll definitely want to make an exception here. Boat trips on the Kazinga Channel are a wildlife viewing highlight of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Cruise past pods of grunting hippos, watch elephants and buffalo come down to drink, enjoy flocks of pelican and other aquatic birds, catch a glimpse of the snow-capped Rwenzori peaks, and keep an eye open for the giant forest hog, a local specialty.

We visit the historic small town of Fort Portal, which stands in a fertile region of jungle-fringed crater lakes and terraced tea plantations in the northeast foothills of the snowcapped Rwenzori Mountains. In the morning after breakfast at 7am, we drive to the park briefing site ad later you head in the forest with Rangers for the Chimpanzee Experience Set on fertile volcanic soils studded with beautiful crater lakes, Kibale National Park protects a 766km² tract of mid-altitude rainforest extending northwards from Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here, you can look forward to seeing a wide variety of monkeys, birds and butterflies, but the star attraction is a 1,000-strong population of chimpanzees, and their hysterical pant-hoot vocalizations, which carry deep into the forest Interior.
