What sets this experience apart is the combination of intimacy, access, and authenticity. With a maximum of six guests, this is not a crowded tour but a personal, small-group experience where the pace is unhurried and the focus is on enjoying the moment.
You’ll cruise on a classic wooden lobster boat, giving you a true sense of Maine’s working waterfront—not a generic sightseeing vessel. The experience is flexible, shaped around your group, the conditions, and what feels right on the day.
The highlight is a VIP dockside stop at Young’s Lobster Pound. Arriving by boat, you’ll step ashore away from the crowds, enjoy a live lobster demonstration, and pick up one of their iconic lobster rolls before heading back out onto the water to enjoy it.
It’s simple, personal, and exactly how Maine is meant to be experienced
Make your way to the City Harbor Dock and find the Nautilus restaurant. With the Nautilus on your left, walk toward the water—you’ll see a ramp down to the dock and a white lobster boat waiting. Head down to meet your captain and guide.
You’ll arrive at Young’s Lobster Pound via private dock, stepping ashore for a VIP experience away from the crowds. Here, you’ll get a closer look at Maine’s most iconic seafood spot, including a live lobster demonstration where you’ll learn how lobsters are handled, sized, and prepared. There’s time to explore, take in the working waterfront, and ask questions before picking up one of Young’s famous lobster rolls—or your choice of meal. Once you’ve got everything you need, you’ll head back to the boat and return to the water, enjoying your food on board as the cruise continues.
