Let's meet and greet - Hello! Hola! Bonjour! 你好 :) Our friendly guide will greet you in English and share a bit of local dialect too (the tone is so much livelier than mandarin!). Once ready, we'll give you - ● Background introduction of Yuyuan Road Old Town Area as a former French Concession. ● Some interesting things to watch out during the city walk onwards (like a virtual treasure hunt!). And please expect some SH dialect fun! ● It's a mix of culture and chill, a walking-friendly neighborhood, and not overly commercialized. Feel free to ask whatever questions you have - this is a private tour for you, and we're here to help!

2Yuyuan Old Street
Ready to embark on the cultural deepdive with our most unique DISCOVERY CHALLENGE? A postcard-sized directional card will be given to you with the map of the area and quiz questions for you to complete by the end of the tour, all related to the fun fact here in the old town! Don't worry you got this - answers are well hidden in the guided route! Along the road, we'll guide you to - ● Admire unique ShiKuMen architectural features and significant landmarks. ● Point out the former residences of celebrities such as Eileen Chang and others (over dozens). ● Stop at local street food vendors along Yuyuan Road. ● Sample Shanghai specialties such as Sheng Jian Bao (pan-fried pork buns), xiao long bao (soup dumplings), and scallion pancakes. ● Discuss the significance of these foods in Shanghai's culinary culture ● Immersive city life experience for this culturally rich and modern area, very popular among Shanghai locals.
