Yangshuo lies to the southeast of Guilin and in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Since being introduced by 'Lonely Planet' in 1980, it greets an increasing number of visitors annually.

The rippling

Li River traverses the county and brings it breath-taking natural beauty. The county is regarded as one of the most beautiful counties in China and the local scenery is the essence of Guilin. It is also the termination of a Li River cruise.

The Longsheng Rice Terraces (Dragon's Backbone), also called the Longji Rice Terraces are located in Longsheng County, about 130 kilometres from Guilin.

The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountain top, between 600 to 800 metres. The terraced fields were mostly built about 650 years ago.

    Longji Rice Terrace Experience

    check out from your hotel, our guide will come to hotel for greeting. Your departure is 8:00 am. 2.5 hours drive will bring us upto the Longsheng terrace. You will see lots minority villages along the driving. Taking deep breath in the mountain, time for walk up to your lovely hotel in the Pingan village (can book from optional or book yourself). our guide will take you up to the top of the rice terrace, to enjoy the gorgeous view from the top rice terrace.  You should have a so great local dinner which we suggest in the village.

    Take yout bike and follow us into countryside to explore the Li river/ moon hill/ villages/ .  9:00-9:20 take bikes 9:30-10:10 bike to Yima village to explore the fields and 400 years old samll arch brigde 10:20-11:00 bike to Li river wharf and take relax walk along the river. 11:10-11:40 on the way to moon hill and take rest at moon hill cafe which is a famous local restaurant. 12:00-12:50 luch time 13:00-14:30 moon hill easy light hiking 14:50-16:10 back to western street free time in the evening
