On Day 1, journey along the famous Sun Route, a scenic corridor connecting Lake Titicaca and Cusco. Along the way visit the Pukara Museum, the impressive Temple of Wiracocha in Raqchi, You’ll also stop at La Raya Pass, the highest point of the route with spectacular views of the Andes.
Instead of continuing directly to Cusco, spend the night in the peaceful Andean countryside at Amaru Treehouse in Cusipata.
On Day 2, wake early to explore Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), one of Peru’s most spectacular landscapes located over 5,000 meters above sea level. After hiking to the colorful summit, return with a group transfer to Cusco.

La Raya Pass, at 4,335 meters (14,222 ft) above sea level, is the highest point on the "Ruta del Sol" (Route of the Sun) between Cusco and Puno. It serves as a scenic, high-altitude border stop featuring stunning mountain views, a local craft market, and traditional Andean scenery.
Raqchi lies about 120 kilometers southeast of Cusco, on the Ruta del Sol (Route of the Sun), which connects Cusco to Puno and stretches for 400 kilometers. This route was vital for the Inca Empire, linking the capital to Lake Titicaca while passing through many important sites, including Raqchi. As always, the Incas carefully chose their construction sites. Here, they could monitor trade, control the passage of travelers, and protect the region from potential attacks.
around 15:30 pm, we will arrive to Cusipata is a key town and common stop for breakfast on the popular "short route" to Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) in Peru, located about 3 hours from Cusco. It serves as a base for accessing the trailhead for the fabulous rainbow mountain that we will explore the next daay.
After breakfast we will take our van with the group to visit the rainbow mountains, the hiking point is only 50 minutes away from Cusipata where we had spent the night before.
finally we will arrive to Cusco after visiting the visit to vinicunca.
