  Blue Lagoon – Comino During this private boat tour in Malta we will visit the famous Blue Lagoon in Comino, one of the most stunning swimming spots in the Maltese islands. The lagoon is well known for its incredibly clear turquoise water and bright sandy seabed, making it one of the highlights of a private boat trip to Comino. At the Blue Lagoon you can swim directly from the boat using the swim ladder, or if you prefer you can also go on land and explore the lagoon from the small beach area.   Crystal Lagoon – Comino Crystal Lagoon is one of the most spectacular places around Comino and a highlight of many private boat tours in Malta. Close to Hondoq Bay there is also a hidden spot known as Bemberin Gorge, a small and secluded cove along the coastline. This island is known for its rugged cliffs, clear blue water, and many hidden swimming spots that are often much quieter than the more popular locations. During a private boat trip around Comino and Gozo we visit some of the best areas along the coast, including secluded coves and small beaches that can usually only be reached by boat. These peaceful locations are perfect for swimming and snorkelling in crystal clear water, away from the crowds. We may also explore some of the smaller islands and rock formations just off the coast of Gozo, such as Halfa Rock and other small islets that are rich in marine life. These areas are often surrounded by damselfish and other Mediterranean species, making them excellent spots for snorkelling. Exploring Gozo by private boat offers a completely different perspective of the island and its beautiful coastline.

  Cominotto Island During this private boat tour in Malta we may also explore Cominotto Island, a small island located just next to the famous Blue Lagoon in Comino. Cominotto can only truly be explored by private boat, as many of its best spots are only accessible from the sea. We usually anchor just off the coast near the protected natural area, where guests can swim across to the secluded beach. The water surrounding Cominotto is incredibly clear and bright blue, making it a perfect location for swimming and snorkelling during a private boat trip to Comino. The area is rich in marine life and the rocky seabed attracts many species of Mediterranean fish, making it a great spot for snorkelling.   Ċirkewwa Harbour – Departure Point Ċirkewwa Harbour is where we meet to begin your private boat tour in Malta. Here you will be welcomed on board by your skipper before we start the boat trip. Before departure, we take a few minutes to explain the route planned for the day, depending on sea conditions and the interests of the guests. Ċirkewwa is located on the northern tip of Malta and is known for its clear blue water and beautiful coastal views. The harbour area is also a well-known spot for swimming, snorkelling, and diving thanks to its excellent visibility and clean Mediterranean water. From here we start our private boat trip towards Comino, which is only a short distance away. The journey from Ċirkewwa to Comino usually takes around 10 minutes, allowing us to quickly reach the famous Blue Lagoon, Crystal Lagoon, and the caves around Comino. This makes Ċirkewwa the perfect starting point for exploring Comino by private boat.

  San Niklaw Bay

  San Niklaw Bay – Comino During this private boat tour in Malta we may also visit San Niklaw Bay, a quiet and scenic cove on the north side of Comino. This bay is known for its clear blue water and relaxed atmosphere, making it a great place to stop for swimming during a private boat trip to Comino. Compared to the busy Blue Lagoon, San Niklaw Bay is usually much more peaceful, allowing guests to enjoy the natural beauty of Comino away from the crowds. Nearby there is also a hidden gorge along the coastline with interesting rock formations, small swim-through caves, and natural air pockets that can sometimes be explored in calm conditions. San Niklaw Bay is also home to the historic Comino Hotel, which is set to be rebuilt in 2026. The eastern side of the bay is also known for octopus, especially around sunrise and sunset.

• P 31 Wreck (Pass by)

  P31 Wreck – Crystal Lagoon During this private boat tour in Malta we may also visit the famous P31 wreck, located near the Crystal Lagoon in Comino. This wreck was originally a World War II minesweeper that was later converted into a patrol boat before being intentionally scuttled to create an artificial reef. Today the wreck rests on a sandy seabed at a depth of around 12 to 18 metres, making it an excellent spot for snorkelling and free diving during a private boat trip to Comino. It is now surrounded by fish and marine life in the crystal clear blue water of the lagoon. This area is perfect for guests who enjoy snorkelling or free diving, as the wreck is clearly visible in good conditions. If you prefer to stay on board, you can still see the location from the boat and enjoy the beautiful blue water around the Crystal Lagoon. This area is much quieter than the busy locations around Comino and offers a more peaceful side of the islands. The coastline here is rugged and natural, with several hidden spots that can only be reached by boat, making the experience feel even more special. The Qala coast is also rich in marine life and is a great place for snorkelling during a private boat trip around Comino and Gozo. The rocky seabed is often home to octopus, cuttlefish, seabream, and other Mediterranean fish. In one section of the coast there is also natural clay mud found on the rocks. This mud contains natural minerals that many people believe are beneficial for the skin. Some guests enjoy applying the mud before rinsing it off in the clear blue sea, before getting back on the boat and continuing the private boat tour.

  Alex Cave – Smurfs Cave (Comino) During this private boat tour in Malta we may also visit Alex Cave, also known locally as Smurfs Cave.
