The bricks used in building the temple are light-weight. Unlike other stones, these bricks float on water instead of sinking. The walls of the temple showcase intricate carvings. The sculptures are unique in their sensuous postures and elongated bodies. As you enter the temple, you will see a majestic statue of the Nandi bull, the divine vehicle of Lord Shiva. After a tour of the temple, stop for lunch (beverage excluded) at a local restaurant. After lunch you will be driven back to Hyderabad and dropped off at your hotel.
