Our culinary journey begins at a charming local bakery, where we’ll indulge in the iconic brezel, a traditional Tyrolean pretzel. Freshly baked, warm, and with just the right amount of salt, this delicious snack is the perfect introduction to the region’s flavors.
Next, we’ll step into the bustling Markthalle, a local market brimming with authentic Tyrolean produce. Here, we’ll sample a variety of regional specialties, including rich, creamy cheeses and other local delicacies. To complement these flavors, we’ll sip on a glass of fine wine, immersing ourselves in the true taste of the Tyrol area.
As we stroll through the historic, medieval streets of Innsbruck, we’ll make our way to a beloved local restaurant. This is where we’ll enjoy the main dish of our food tour. Whether it’s the hearty Spätzle (dumplings), the flavorful Gröstl (fried meat and potatoes), or the iconic Knödel (dumplings), each dish offers a perfect taste of authentic Innsbruck cuisine.
We’ll then make our way to a local brewery, where we’ll have the chance to sample traditional Tyrolean and Austrian beers. The variety and craftmanship of the region’s brews provide a refreshing taste of local brewing culture.
Our tour concludes at one of the finest cafés in the area, where we’ll satisfy our sweet tooth with the beloved strudel. Flaky and filled with apples, cinnamon, and sugar, this classic dessert is the perfect way to end a memorable culinary tour in Innsbruck.
