This walking tour takes you through a humble but evolving neighborhood, boasting a kaleidoscope of culture, traditional customs, and vivid colors. Walk down Memorial Boulevard to learn where the history begins, visit local mom and pop establishments like a fruit marketplace, bakery, apparel store (guayaberas) and cigar shop. While no food is offered on this tour (compared to our other tours) you will sample freshly brewed Cuban coffee.
Your tour guide will answer any questions about the history, the people, and the politics. You will be introduced to Cuban exiles and the second generation who run the mom-and-pop shops.
Recommendations for restaurants offering authentic food, best mojito bar, and Latin jazz music can also be provided to continue your Little Havana experience.

Departure Point: Bay of Pigs Monument across the street from the El Nuevo Siglo Supermarket FREE Parking: Near starting point, 1277 SW 10th Street (walk to 13th Block, turn right and walk up to SW 8th st) Near ending point, behind 1642 SW 8th St (free parking 7am-6pm)
Return point: Either 16th Avenue and SW 8th Street or 17th avenue and SW 8th Street, 4 blocks away from starting point.
