    We will have a tour through Lima’s streets and plazas. Starting at “Parque del Amor” in Miraflores, with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, and then we are heading to the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture, for a panoramic view.

    After this, we go on to the Main Square where the Government Palace and the Town Hall are located. We will visit the Cathedral and explore the Santo Domingo Convent, along which corridors Sant Martin de Porres and Sant Rosa de Lima used to walk around in 17th century, and where their remains rest today.

    Basilica Catedral De Lima

    The Basilica Cathedral of Lima is also home to the tomb of Francisco Pizarro, the spanish conqueror of the Inca´s empire. Inside, along the side aisles, are a sequence of large paintings of the Via Crucis, "Way of the Cross." Pope John Paul II visited this cathedral on two occasions, in 1985 and 1988. This is commemorated with signs at the entrance. There are 14 side chapels.
