This 2.5 hour “Thessaloniki tasty exploration” tour is designed to tackle your foodie mind. We’ll walk the city streets and visit non-touristic venues where you’ll experience the Greek everyday life. Meeting and pickup
Location Name: Meeting point: Inside the Port of Thessaloniki, across Eleftherias Square (in front of the white mast).
Directions: Tour departs from inside the Port of Thessaloniki, nearby the white mast when you enter the Port on your left hand side. Your host will be wearing an 'E' badge on his/her T-shirt.
Return Location: The tour does not finish at the starting point. Detailed return directions are provided.
What to expect
We’ll start the day by grabbing some of the famous local pastries and snacks, just like Greeks like to do it. We’ll take you to the places with plenty of locals eating and drinking the well-known Greek appetizers and specialties! At these flavorful venues, you’ll taste and experience the real daily life of a Thessalonian and you will discover the secrets of a Greek open market (open on Monday to Saturday). You’ll have an opportunity to drink a coffee while listening to intriguing stories in a pleasant atmosphere of an undiscovered venue. You’ll leave this tour with sweet memories carved to your mind and a wish to come back for more!
