    Day 1

    Nairobi to Masai Mara

    Maasai Mara National Reserve

    You will be picked from a confirmed point, airport/hotel, and be transferred to the departure point to start your budget holiday safari. At 0800hrs you will depart from Nairobi for Masai with two stop overs at view point to see the escarpment and Narok town for your final shopping. Later proceed to Masai Mara Miti Mingi Eco Camp in time for lunch. Check in to your room, have lunch and proceed for an introductory evening game drive for about 2 to 3 hours. Return back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

    Masai Mara Full day safari

    Maasai Mara National Reserve

    You will wake up very early, have your breakfast and by 0630 hrs. you should be starting the full day safari. Masai Mara has a rich diversity of animals from the big five to giraffes, zebras, rhinos, antelopes, gazelles among others. In this reserve, you are assured of real close encounters of the wildlife. As we follow the wildlife road tracking networks, we will get to the Mara River, where you can watch the hippos and crocodiles. Depending on your timing, you can also witness millions of wildebeest crossing this river from the neighboring Serengeti, to look for greener pastures in Masai Mara. The wildebeest migration is one of the world’s annual spectacular events in the Masai Mara. You will have your picnic lunch in the park and continue with game viewing with more of the big five and the lesser-known game encounters till sunset. This marks the second day of your budget holiday safari Dinner and overnight shall be at your camp.

    Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

    Wake up a little bit late, have your breakfast, check out of your room then proceed for the cultural experience with the Masai breaking the monotony of your holiday experience. Listen to their songs and folklore, dances and also their way of life. Later leave Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru national park. There is the boat ride which is an optional activity. Arrive in Nakuru in time for dinner and overnight as you relax from the exhaustion of the long drive from Masai Mara

    Lake Nakuru to Amboseli

    Lake Nakuru National Park

    After breakfast have a morning game drive for about 3 to 4 hours in Lake Nakuru national park where the chances of seeing the rhinos are very high, spot the flamingos in Lake Nakuru which gives the lake a pink appearance due to their pink color. Lake Nakuru is home to both the white and black rhino sanctuary. Later leave Nakuru for Amboseli having completed the first part of the great holiday safari. Arrive in Amboseli in the late evening for dinner and overnight.

    Amboseli National Park

    After breakfast proceed for Amboseli national park which marks the start of the second half of your budget holiday safari in Kenya. Amboseli is known for its great views of Mt. Kilimanjaro which is the tallest mountain in Africa and is snowcapped making it a great sight to look at. Amboseli is also home to thousands of elephants which are much bigger and majestic than the elephants on Masai Mara. The elephants in Amboseli are referred as red elephants due to their reddish appearance as a result of the red soil in Amboseli. Explore the park coming into close proximity with the elephants, see the giraffes, zebras, buffalos as well as many other animals as you enjoy the landscape. In the evening return back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

    Amboseli to Nairobi

    After breakfast, check out of your room and proceed for the final game drive in Amboseli for about 2 hours. Have a chance to see the views of Mount Kilimanjaro as the sun rises, the prolific bird life as well as the final search of animals that you might have missed the previous day. Exit the park and came back to Nairobi which marks the end of you 6 days Budget holiday safari in Kenya
