  Asahiyama Zoo

  Begin your day tour by meeting your driver in Sapporo. Head to Asahiyama Zoo and spend about 2 hours exploring and eating lunch. Renowned Asahiyama Zoo, Japan's northernmost zoo and a must-visit in winter. Unlike many other zoos, here the animals don't hide away during the cold season See adorable penguins take a walk in the snow (from December to March), clumsy raccoons crawl on top of their heads to make faces, curious seals play up and down in the glass column, and monkeys snuggle with each other to keep warm.

  Ken & Mary Tree (Drive-by sightseeing only) (Note: This is a seasonal attraction from Dec. to Mar.) Named after appearing in Nissan’s 1972 commercial “Love’s Horizon,” this tall poplar tree became a symbol of Biei’s romantic landscape. The ad’s couple, Ken and Mary, made this spot famous across Japan. Nearby stands a cute yellow triangular house surrounded by Christmas trees—an enchanting sight straight out of a fairy tale.

  Furano Blue Pond (Approx. 30 mins)(Note: This is a seasonal attraction from Apr. to Nov.) Located on the left bank of the Biei River, the Blue Pond was formed by a dam built to prevent volcanic damage. Its vibrant blue hue, caused by sunlight reflecting off mineral-rich volcanic sediments, makes it one of Hokkaido’s most magical sights

  Shikisai no Oka Furano(Note: This is a seasonal attraction. From Dec. to Mar.) Drive past HERB GARDEN, and enjoy a complimentary local Hokkaido beverage. In winter, Shikisai no Oka becomes a snow paradise blanketed in pure white. Visitors can enjoy snowmobiles, sledding, and other fun snow activities—even beginners can join easily. You can also visit the alpaca farm nearby. The rows of trees stretching across the snowy hills resemble silent sentinels guarding the land, creating a minimalist, breathtaking winter landscape that makes visitors linger in awe.

  Shirahige Falls

  Shirahige Falls （seasonal attraction from Apr. to Nov.) Shirahige Falls in Furano, Hokkaido, is a 30-meter waterfall at 600 meters elevation in Shirogane Onsen, Biei Town. Its name, “Shirahige” (White Beard), comes from water flowing down rocks like a beard. The spring water creates bluish splashes. In summer, the area is lush and green; in winter, snow covers it, offering a stunning seasonal contrast.

  Ningle Terrace

  Ningle Terrace Forest (Approx. 30 minutes) Ningle Terrace in Furano is a forest craft workshop inspired by a character from a novel by Japanese author Sō Kuramoto—a tiny forest elf about 15 cm tall. The terrace features small wooden cottages, each a shop selling unique handmade items such as glass crafts, paper crafts, hand-painted artworks, and crafts made from Furano lavender. Each shop is small and exquisite, offering items exclusive to this location. In the evening, the lights create a romantic atmosphere. Please note that due to on-site management restrictions or frequent winter traffic incidents, access to Ningle Terrace may be unavailable on the day of your visit. In such cases, to ensure a safe and smooth itinerary, this stop will be canceled. Thank you for your understanding
