    Begin your day tour by meeting your driver in Sapporo. Head to Asahiyama Zoo and spend about 2 hours exploring and eating lunch. Renowned Asahiyama Zoo, Japan's northernmost zoo and a must-visit in winter. Unlike many other zoos, here the animals don't hide away during the cold season See adorable penguins take a walk in the snow (from December to March), clumsy raccoons crawl on top of their heads to make faces, curious seals play up and down in the glass column, and monkeys snuggle with each other to keep warm.

Its name, “Shirahige” (White Beard), comes from water flowing down rocks like a beard. The spring water creates bluish splashes. In summer, the area is lush and green; in winter, snow covers it, offering a stunning seasonal contrast.

    Ningle Terrace Forest (Approx. 30 minutes) Ningle Terrace in Furano is a forest craft workshop inspired by a character from a novel by Japanese author Sō Kuramoto—a tiny forest elf about 15 cm tall. The terrace features small wooden cottages, each a shop selling unique handmade items such as glass crafts, paper crafts, hand-painted artworks, and crafts made from Furano lavender. Each shop is small and exquisite, offering items exclusive to this location. In the evening, the lights create a romantic atmosphere. Please note that due to on-site management restrictions or frequent winter traffic incidents, access to Ningle Terrace may be unavailable on the day of your visit.
