    At 7:30am, you will depart Entebbe and begin your journey west toward Kibale National Park, Uganda’s primate capital and one of its most beautiful rainforest regions. As you travel, the landscapes gradually change from lively towns to rural countryside and greener highlands as you approach the Fort Portal area. A stop will be made along the way for lunch and a short break before continuing into the Kibale region, where tea plantations, banana farms, and forest edges begin to define the scenery. Arrive in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and enjoy a quiet evening surrounded by nature as you prepare for the chimpanzee tracking experience the following day. Drive time: Entebbe → Kibale area (approx. 5.5–7.5 hours,)

    Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale & transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

    After breakfast, head to Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for a briefing before setting off on a guided chimpanzee trek. Track the chimpanzees through the rainforest and spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat. After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying scenic views as the landscape changes from tropical forest to rolling savannah and crater lakes.     Today is the highlight of your safari—gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off with experienced guides and trackers in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek takes you through dense rainforest and can vary in duration depending on the gorillas’ location. Once found, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat as they feed, play, and interact with one another.
