Meeting and pickup
Pick-up takes place directly from your accommodation in the city of Chachapoyas (within the urban perimeter). It is recommended to be ready in the lobby or entrance 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time. If staying outside the urban area, a nearby meeting point will be coordinated.
Schedules may vary slightly due to road conditions between Cocahuayco and Cocachimba, so we appreciate your understanding and punctuality.
The meeting point is in the Plaza de Armas of Chachapoyas, opposite the Cathedral. Look for our staff identified with agency logo vests. It is recommended to arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

09:00 a.m. Departure from Chachapoyas. 10 :00 a.m. Arrive in the community of Cocachimba to buy your lunch in case you haven’t and pay the entrance tickets before starting the hike.

2Catarata de Gocta
10 : 30 a.m. Start walking to the base of the second fall of the Gocta Fall, for approximately 3 hours, amid lush vegetation of the cloud forest, inhabit the national bird of Peru (Gallito de los rocas), Emerald Tucaneta, Spatulatail Hummingbird, Tangaras and other bird species. You can also appreciate butterflies, orchids, bromeliads, mosses which make this route an unparalleled sight.

3Chachapoyas
02 : 00 p.m. Return to the community of Cocachimba. 04 : 30 p.m. Lunch in Cocachimba, then return to the city of Chachapoyas. 06 : 30 p.m. Arrival in the city of Chachapoyas. NOTE: Departure times vary for road widening work sector Cocahuayco – Cocachimba
