If you are getting picked up from the airport, our staff will be waiting for you at the international arrivals exit with a chart with the name Savanna Sojourns Safaris and your name on it. They will also be dressed with our company uniform for easy Identification. You will be taken to the hotel or start the safari, depending on what time you arrive and as per the plans.

7:00 AM - Pick-up from your hotel, airport, or designated meeting point in Nairobi. 9:30 AM - Stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views and photo opportunities. 12:00 PM - Arrive in Narok for a lunch break, enjoying local cuisine and stretching your legs. 1:00 PM - Continue the journey to Maasai Mara, taking in the stunning landscapes along the way. 3:00 PM - Arrive at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge for check-in and a brief rest. 4:30 PM - Embark on your first game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, seeking out the Big Five and other incredible wildlife. 6:30 PM - Return to Jambo Mara Safari Lodge for a delicious dinner and an evening of relaxation. 2Maasai Mara National Reserve
5:00 AM: Wake up and prepare for an exciting day. 6:00 AM: Enjoy breakfast before we head out. Early starts boost our chances of spotting wildlife, including lions hunting! Full Day Game Drive: We’ll venture deep into Maasai Mara, carrying packed lunches to enjoy at a scenic lookout near the Mara River. Here, you might see hippos and crocodiles. If we’re lucky, we could witness the Great Migration—a truly unforgettable sight! Focus on the Big Five: Our aim today is to spot the Big Five and learn about the diverse wildlife. With 10 hours of exploration, we’ll cover a significant section of the park, maximizing our chances of incredible encounters. Afternoon Game Drive: As we drive back towards the lodge, we’ll embark on an afternoon game drive, soaking in more sights and sounds of this breathtaking landscape. Return to Lodge: 5:30 PM: Arrive back at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge for a well-deserved dinner and relaxation after an adventurous day in the wild!

3Maasai Mara National Reserve
Maasai Village Visit and Drive to Nairobi Day 3 begins with a visit to a traditional Maasai village. Immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the Maasai people, learning about their way of life, customs, and crafts. After this enriching experience, we commence our drive back towards Nairobi. En route, we stop for lunch at Narok, enjoying a delicious meal before continuing our journey. The safari concludes as we arrive at our designated meet-up point in Nairobi, marking the end of a memorable 3-day adventure in the Maasai Mara.
