What to expect
Once you feel confident on the water, you will follow your guide into a hidden network of waterways. You will paddle through a traditional Chinese water village where life moves at a slower pace. You’ll navigate under ancient stone bridges and alongside stilt-houses where locals still wash vegetables and hang laundry by the river—a rare, authentic glimpse into the "Old Jiangnan" lifestyle.
The highlight of the journey is entering the "Little Amazon"—a dense, flooded forest of towering dawn redwoods and lush aquatic vegetation.
