See the best of Iceland's South Coast in a small group with a local driver-guide, not in a big coach. We pick you up at your hotel or cruise terminal and travel in a comfortable vehicle chosen for the size of the group, so the long day stays relaxed with real time at each stop.
Walk behind Seljalandsfoss and find Gljúfrabúi hidden in its canyon. Stand at the foot of the sixty-metre Skógafoss, then walk to the edge of the Sólheimajökull glacier to see the blue and black ice up close.
At Reynisfjara, the famous black sand beach, you see basalt columns, a sea cave and the Reynisdrangar sea stacks. Lunch is in the village of Vík at your own cost. Your driver-guide shares stories about volcanoes, glaciers and life in the countryside, and drops you back at your hotel in Reykjavík.
Pickup is available from any hotel or address in the Reykjavik Capital Area, from the cruise terminals in Reykjavik and Hafnarfjordur, or from one of three meeting points: Bus stop #1 Reykjavik City Hall, Harpa Concert Hall or Hallgrimskirkja church. If a vehicle cannot reach your address, we will pick you up at the nearest meeting point and let you know where. Your exact pickup time is sent the evening before.
