The Queens’ Pyramids are a group of smaller pyramids located beside the Great Pyramid of Khufu. They were built during the 4th Dynasty for royal women and members of the royal family. The most famous ones are associated with Queen Hetepheres, Queen Meritites, and Queen Henutsen. Although they are much smaller than the Great Pyramid, they are an important part of the royal cemetery and give us a glimpse into the lives and status of the queens of ancient Egypt.
