Queer City Tour
Join me on a stroll through the oldest part of Amsterdam, where I will show you the amazing, queer history of the city and talk about Amsterdam's pride and protests.
During our walk, we will discover the hidden queer gems of the area and I will share with you my personal and queer life experiences – from falling in love to being gay and single in Amsterdam.
Everyone is welcome to join this 2-hour trip down Amsterdam's queer history. Remember that the rainbow is for everyone!

You will recognize me by my tiny rainbow flag.
In front of the oldest LGBTQI+ bar: Cafe 't Mandje.
Stop 1 The meeting point is at the National Monument at Dam Square. You will recognize your queer tour guide by the tiny rainbow flag they are holding (what else!).
Stop 2: This tour is all about the queer perspective on Amsterdam's history. We want to share the stories that often stay untold. What does this National Monument represent and (how) does it represent the suffering of LGBTQI+ people in the WOII?
Stop 4 We are diving into the queer and historic heart of the city, the oldest part in town. And the first place we bump into is a condom shop. Not just a condom shop but the first one in the world, born out of necessity during the Aids crisis. In addition to your ears, your eyes will also be treated to a feast at this location.
