Discover the highlights of Kefalonia on a shore excursion from Argostoli. After disembarkation, we meet our English speaking guide at the Port exit, where our air conditioned bus awaits. We head off to our first visit - the Melissani Cave, you may see turtles in the Bay of Argostoli, and take in the views from the Myrtos viewpoint.
We teh head to the Drogarati cave which is famed for its exceptional acoustics and stunning stalagmites and stalactites . A stroll thought his ancient cave will you leave you spellbound.
At Myrtos Beach we stop at the view point and enjoy a 10 minute photo stop in order to enjoy those stunning images of one of Greece's most beautiful beaches.
As we head back to Argostoli we stop at a traditional seaside shop , where you can experience a local wine tasting, included in your excursion price.
We then head back to the Port to re-join your ship.

Take some wide-angle shots to capture the full expanse of the lagoon, especially during the golden hour for the best lighting. Birdlife and Wildlife (5–10 minutes):The lagoon is home to a variety of birds, including herons, ducks, and other migratory species. If you're lucky, you can capture photos of the local wildlife. Take time to observe and focus on any interesting animal behavior or birdlife in the area.

2Melissani Cave
Melissani Cave is one of Kefalonia’s most stunning natural wonders, located near the village of Karavomylos. A visit to this cave typically takes about 1 hour, and while it's an optional activity, it's definitely worth considering for its breathtaking beauty. What to Expect During Your 1-Hour Visit: Boat Tour (30-40 minutes):The primary way to explore Melissani Cave is by boat. A small boat takes you across the underground lake, which is surrounded by striking limestone cliffs. The water is an ethereal turquoise blue, and the boat ride allows you to admire the stunning rock formations above and below the water. The boat tour usually lasts about 30 to 40 minutes, and guides often provide insights into the cave’s history and geology. Exploring the Cave (20 minutes):After the boat ride, you’ll be able to walk around the cave’s entrance and view the spectacular underground lake from above. The cave has a large open ceiling that allows sunlight to stream .

It’s a perfect location for a 20-minute photo stop to capture the beauty of the area.
