There will be close encounters with baby elephants at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, hand feeding of Reticulated giraffe at the Giraffe Center in Nairobi, and meet the Rhinoceros ‘Max' at the Sweetwaters Reserve.

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be picked up and welcomed by our representative and transferred to our Nairobi hotel.
Start your morning with a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Your driver will be available to you all day for all excursions planned in and around Nairobi. Visit the David Sheldrick Orphanage and learn all about raising orphaned baby elephants. Meet the endangered Rothsschild giraffes close up and personal at the Giraffe Center where you have the opportunity to hand feed them. You may enjoy lunch in a nearby restaurant in the Karen area at own expense. After lunch tour Kazuri beads factory for hand made necklaces and pottery get an opportunity to buy souvenir then be dropped back to your hotel at your convenience after a fun filled day and first impression of African wildlife
After an early breakfast depart for your safari. Drive past the snow capped Mount Kenya to Sweetwaters Private Game Sanctuary and arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive to see elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, waterbuck and much more. Sweetwaters Tented Camp is situated near the Aberdare Mountain Range and with a bit of luck you may enjoy a cloud free view of Mount Kenya. During your stay, you have the opportunity to visit and possibly stroke rhino "Max". This is truly an impressive and memorable experience for both young and old.
Spend a full day at Sweetwaters Game Reserve and visit with the resident chimpanzees. A short walk takes you to a river bank from which you can sit and watch the primates across the river on their ‘private’ island. This is the only place in Kenya where these animals can be observed. You will enjoy unlimited game drives, choosing the number of drives and duration. This is the best way to ensure the most enjoyable safari experience for you and your children.
After a delicious breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, driving along the Aberdare Mountain Range with a stop at the Thompson Waterfalls. Often tourists can see the tribal dance of the Kikuyu which is Kenya’s largest ethnic tribe. Arrive at Lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy an extended game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park for the rest of the day. Embark on a search for lions and leopards and experience a magnificent view of the lake from Baboon Cliff.
Spend another exciting day at Lake Nakuru. Enjoy several game drives, visit the Makalia waterfalls. Nakuru is known for its thousands of flamingoes, coloring the lake pink.
After a scrumptious breakfast depart for the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive for a late lunch at the intimate and well located Mara Bush Camp. This will be your base for all your game drives and activities in the coming days. An afternoon game drive will give you a first insight in spotting some of the "Big Five". Listen to camp fire stories under the African Night sky.
Enjoy unlimited game drives in the reserve. The great migration of the wildebeest takes place between July and November where you will witness thousands of wildebeest and zebra in the park, trying to cross the Mara Rivers. Visit a Maasai Village to get to know the local Maasai Tribe. Children can spend time making Maasai beaded necklaces and bow / arrow while parents may have some time for themselves. You could head out with a packed breakfast and stay out all morning or enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while waiting at the river for a crossing. There are activities for the whole family with time well spent out in nature. (Option of Hot Air Balloon Safari USD450 per person)
Enjoy unlimited game drive in the reserve for the second day
Enjoy your last early morning game drive and a delightful breakfast at the lodge. Afterwards leave the Mara and head back for Nairobi. Arrive late afternoon (at approx. 16.00 hrs) where you will be transferred to the airport for your international flight. Alternatively, you can continue with a beach holiday to the beautiful North or South Coast Kenya’s.
