Lake Elementaita, Soysambu Conservancy

Depart for a morning drive through the Great Rift Valley to the shore of the 'pink' Lake Elementaita, overlooking the vast unspoilt plains. Take a guided nature walk to learn about the ecosystem and the different birds found here. Later, join a game drive to Soysambu Conservancy, a 48,000-acre wildlife conservancy, which protects over 450 bird species and 15,000 wild animals. It is home to a variety of flora and fauna. Tonight, attend an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager, followed by dinner

Afternoon Game Drive in Masai Mara

Travel to the Masai Mara National Reserve in the southwest corner of Kenya, renowned for its game viewing. Lunch is at the camp, before going out on the afternoon game drive. Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Centre

Depart the Mara, and return to Nairobi. In the afternoon, travel towards the Ngong Hills to visit the Giraffe Centre, where you hand-feed Rothschild giraffes from an elevated feeding platform and learn more about the successful breeding program and extensive conservation efforts. Continue to Karen Blixen Museum, once the farmhouse of the prominent author of Out of Africa. Tonight at dinner, bid farewell to your Kenyan guide

Depart Kenya, Arrive in Tanzania, Travel to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park
This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Tanzania. Arrive in Kilimanjaro, and meet your Tanzanian guide. Drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its huge herds of elephants and giraffe, as well as a remarkable variety of over 500 bird species. The Tarangire River and its tributaries provide the only permanent water supply on Maasai land during the dry season, thus supporting a great diversity of wildlife. Explore the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend almost 2,000 feet to the floor of the crater, containing diverse ecosystems, and a vast concentration of birds and animals. You may spot gazelles, zebra and perhaps even the endangered rhino.
