  We begin our tour in the beautiful national garden of Athens. We will hear the story of Queen Amalia and King Otto and how they turned sadness into their own expression of love; a green gift to Athens.

  Herod Atticus Odeon

  An Odeon is a place of music and musical venue took place in nation Athens. It was built by the Romans. As a place for music and singing but it's here where we discussed the ancient Greek poet Sappho. Sappho was the first person to put lyrics to music? She would play a lyre and sing.   Dionysiou Areopagitou

  Hidden beneath the foliage on the south slope of the Acropolis is the ancient sanctuary of the nymphs. It was here, thousands of years ago before anything was built on top of the Acropolis or around and nothing that the ancient people living here would come to the spring, asking the nature goddesses to bring them fertility, health and a sacred blessed marriage. This tradition lasted for thousands of years and the ancient Greeks used it as a ceremonial place to leave votive offerings to the nymphs after their weddings. Even today for me, Greek still leave offering here. This is what the most ancient sacred place in Athens.
