1Grand Egyptian Museum
Your guide is going to meet you at the hotel and start your trip to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the largest archaeological museum in the world, located near the Giza Pyramids. Upon arrival, you will enter the Grand Atrium, where you are welcomed by the impressive colossal statue of King Ramses II. The visit continues to the Grand Staircase, displaying monumental statues, sarcophagi, and artifacts from different periods of Ancient Egypt. You will then explore the main galleries, carefully designed to present Ancient Egyptian history through themes such as daily life, religion, kingship, art, and beliefs. Many of the artifacts are being displayed to the public for the first time. A major highlight of the visit is the King Tutankhamun Collection, showcasing his golden funerary mask, royal jewelry, chariots, ceremonial objects, and personal belongings — the most complete collection of Tutankhamun ever exhibited in one place.
