Suwat Waterfall : Ubud’s Suwat Waterfall is quite popular and easy to get to, though it is still not overrun by tourists. The locals there are friendly and are building a cafe near the water. Suwat Waterfall is really beautiful and there is a deep pool that you can jump into and swim. Great photos are to be had and it is a relaxing environment.
Tibumana Waterfall : If we had to describe Tibumana Waterfall in one word I would say “classic”. It’s a waterfall with the water projecting out and free-falling a great distance, finally plunging into the pool below. this place provides bathrooms and changing areas. It is now becoming more popular with the tourists as it is very picturesque, serene and a good place to swim. Up at the parking area there are an assortment of local restaurants if you are looking for lunch.
Kantolampo waterfall : Kanto Lampo Waterfall is a very impressive cascading waterfall. It really is a sight to behold as the waters slide down the rocky face ending in a pool below. There is even a small coffee shop here that you can sit and enjoy the falls from. There are some great photo ops here though if the waterfall is really busy you may be waiting awhile. There are changing rooms here
Tegenungan Waterfall : Tegenungan Waterfall is Ubud’s biggest and most popular waterfall. This waterfall dumps massive amounts of water into the pool below and can be quite spectacular. The area itself is also quite developed with bathrooms, a walking bridge, and areas to chill out. This is where the criticism of this waterfall comes in because it’s also Ubud’s most crowded waterfall. There are also day clubs with swimming pools and restaurants all around the waterfall. Often they are pumping competing music out which can really ruin any serene vibe one might have been hoping for.
