Visit a second great Vino Nobile winery for a tasting
Today you will learn to cook Italian pasta with the help of a great Tuscan chef. The lesson will take place at BelSentiero with the meal you prepare serving as lunch with a light meal for dinner.
First up is a visit to this great wine shop located in the castle in Montalcino. You will have a tasting of various top Brunellos to give you an overview of what this famous wine is all about
Brief opportunity to explore the historic town of Montalcino. Thereafter lunch will be at an elegant local restaurant with great views over the valley.
After lunch you will visit what is one of the oldest Brunello wineries for a cellar tour and tasting.
Today there will be a second cooking lesson at BelSentiero, but this time with a focus on various local Tuscan dishes. Again the meal you prepare will serve as lunch with a light meal for dinner.
After breakfast we will visit the historic town of Abbadia and the crypt of its famous abbey. The drive there will take us through the beautiful forests of Mont Amiata.
Lunch will be in the historic town of Pienza, famous for its pecorino (sheep's cheese) and food products. There will also be an opportunity for some sight-seeing and shopping in the town.
After lunch there will be a visit to a pecorino sheep farm and the opportunity to taste their various cheeses,
Dinner will be at the elegant il Silene, a restaurant with one Michelin star. This will give the opportunity to taste the products from the Val d'Orcia in a fine dining setting.
Today is a day to wind down and relax after a busy week. After breakfast there is an opportunity to take a walk to the village of Campiglia d'Orcia. The highlight of the day though will be a traditional Tuscan barbecue for lunch on the veranda overlooking the infinity pool and with panoramic views of the Val d'Orcia.
